Lyrical Tradition

From Dothraki
Jump to: navigation, search

It is not fixed, what kind of lyrical tradition Dothraki have. Still, here are some speculative guidelines.

  • While there are heavy syllabes, most syllabes in Dothraki are monomoraic, and thus syllabe is the most natural rhythmic building block, not mora.
  • Pronunciation can take some freedoms: prepositions can be left unelided if needed, and epenthetic vowels can be left silent.
