Talk:High Valyrian Noun Declensions
For the word "gelte", the table says the accusative form is geltī, but further down in the summary table that repeats the declensions, the accusative is listed as geltē. Is this is a mistake? Geltē would be the locative declension, but I'm not really sure which one is rightin this case since there are only two tables to go on.
- I'm leaning towards "geltī" for the singular accusative, since it's consistent with the other 4th declension class nouns that merge the singular and plural accusative cases.
- Yeah, as a general principal, if the individual declension tables and the synoptic ones disagree, the individual ones are more likely to be correct. --Iustinus 23:54, 1 August 2017 (CDT)
- OK I successfully made the edit. I tried to write a useful description of the edit but my browser kept forwarding me to a "security check" and then back to the edit page. The edit failed so many times that I got tired of rewriting the summary. --Marmulak 2017-08-02 23:08 IRDT
